Looking Back

I was looking through my pictures to find more old pics of sensory play we've done and I found some great pics of how our journey started with sensory play...with temper tantrums! Good thing I can look back and laugh now, but I still get teary eyed thinking back to those days.
So before you see her screaming videos pictures, here's one of her showing off how smart she is. I've found that a lot of sensory kids are exceptionally smart academically. Lil Lady is no exception. She knew her entire alphabet by sight and could sign all of the letters before she turned two. This was her at 22 or 23 months old. My favorite part is how she called H's HaHa because she couldn't pronounce H yet. Sorry, the videos are loading, I'll try again later!

This is the video that helped us start to make some progress with her fits. This is the first screaming video I took and then I sat down to watch it while she kept screaming until she got curious what I was doing and calmed down and sat next to me. We watched it several times and talked about why she was so upset.

This one you may not want to watch! Beware, she throws up at the end. Throw up was a common occurrence at our house because she would hyperventilate so badly and then barf. It was lovely.

I don't remember what triggered this one but I think it was because her pants got dirty. Good thing I love this girl!
